T H E F A I T H

It's half past four in the morning and my head is working non-stop to dictate my next topic. The words, the sentences follow each other and I repeat to myself, I have to get up and write them. It's now 6 o'clock and I'm going to get to work. Faith is a subject that has always fascinated me, to the point that after many years and reflections, I think I have lost it. I risk shocking the reader with what I have to say, but I prefer to be honest with myself at the risk of disappointing many.

I realized that there is nothing stronger than faith in some people, so much so that I envied them for having such a belief. But looking closer at their belief, I began to doubt their conviction.

What do people believe in?
Unfortunately, they believe in individuals!
Few of these are ; Moses,  Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed.
I will eliminate the first two to focus on two who for me have influenced the world in their belief.

Christianity has produced Jesus, who at the beginning is the son of God, and then for many Christians becomes God himself, while Islam has produced Mohammed, who without being the son of God has succeeded in convincing the Muslims that he was the last and most truthful revelation.

What is faith?
Some would say a way of life. Others, on the other hand, claim that it is a belief without evidence. How much knowledge did the one who proposed to believe in him have? I wonder if there is doubt in faith.
It is said that once the villagers decided to pray for rain.
On the day of the prayer, everyone gathered, but only one boy came with an umbrella.

A very nice word from our dear Albert Einstein tells us that the Jew who abandons his faith is in a similar position to the snail that has abandoned its shell. He remains a snail.
Faith is a value superior to all others. We cling to it and it becomes our point of salvation.

Why do we cling to it?
Is it fear?
Do we need a crutch so badly to walk better?
Are we so weak and afraid to rely on anything other than our own intelligence? Are we so lacking in self-confidence?
Or is it that someone, more educated and knowledgeable than ourselves, has convinced us that he has and knows the truth and that we should believe in him.

If we look closer and through the ages, men were often not very educated and it took someone more brilliant to show the masses his superiority. He succeeded in convincing them with his charisma and turned them into sheep. Sorry, but that's what I think.

I insist on saying that there is nothing stronger than faith and I discover this every time I talk to someone who takes refuge in it, firmly believing that it is their salvation. On the one hand, I say to myself, good for him, but on the other hand I pity him for having no other solution to make his life more pleasant

Thus article happens to be the second , after the first one called WHAT IS FAITH.

I can only wish that both will help for a better comprehension
